2018 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated over $15,000 to Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op

The Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op (CNYC) is a grassroots organization committed to providing a safe space for inner city and marginalized youth in Saskatoon. CNYC focuses on helping youth develop life and employment skills through hands- on programming and by offering curriculum-approved classes, taught by an accredited teacher, for students to earn high school credits. CNYC promotes the values of community, cooperation, sustainability, environmentalism, gratitude, accountability and leadership in an empowering and respectful atmosphere.

2017 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated over $20,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

BBBS is a mentoring program provides boys, girls, young men and young women with a role model to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed between the mentor and the mentee, which is built on trust and common interests, and is supported by our experienced case-workers. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.

2016 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated over $23,012 to The Restorative Action Program

RAP is a community-based initiative that is hosted in Saskatoon high schools and is sustained through shared responsibility of our partners and by other supportive organizations and citizens. RAP works with youth to develop and practice conflict management, relationship management, and leadership skills using an approach that focuses on prevention, intervention and reconnection.

2015 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated over $22,000 to Creative Kids

Creative Kids connects children and youth to unique, life-changing artistic and cultural experiences in their community. They provide financial support to Saskatchewan families so all kids have an opportunity to participate in creative activities like drama, art, dance, heritage, and music.

With the Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donation of over $20,000, we will assist in offering over 60 children the opportunity to participate in creative activities like drama, art, dance, heritage and music. We are so excited to have such a positive impact on this charity!

2014 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated over $29,873.30 Children’s Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan

The Children’s Discovery Museum of Saskatchewan is a place where children learn through hands-on, open ended play. The exhibits and programming foster creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning!

The Children’s Discovery Museum is excited to be pursuing the opportunity of moving into the Mendel building when it is vacated in 2016. With the Kinsmen Park area being redeveloped into a destination for children and families, they are an ideal fit! The donation from the Saskatoon Corporate Challenge will aid in reaching this goal!

2013 Charity of Choice – Saskatoon Corporate Challenge donated $25,500 to the Ronald McDonald House of Saskatchewan

Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan offers a “home away from home” for families who need a place to stay while their children receive medical treatment in Saskatoon. Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan opened its doors in 1985 with 13 guest rooms and currently, the House turns away one out of every three families who approach the House due to lack of space. Our $10 million For Every Family capital campaign will allow the House to expand to 34 rooms, and ensure that we can meet the needs of future generations of Saskatchewan families. With your help we can ensure Saskatchewan families are greeted with a warm welcome, a comfortable stay and fresh baked cookies cooling on the kitchen counter – making the House feel like home.

Saskatoon Corporate Challenge 2013 will support the purchase of fitness equipment to supply the expanded House Fitness Centre. This centre is a new addition to the services that we will offer the families staying in the House, upon completion of the project.
